i had my husband a 50 surprise birthday party his sister and husband lives 2 1/2 hoursaway they did not attend stayed at there home for a football party that the football game was on our tv also his sistter her husband and brother did not attend they live in the same town we do they went to the sister that lives out of toen but they called our house a ruin his surprice party for him he had no idea untill they called im so upset. they called to wish him a happy birthday and sorry they could not be at our house. please give me some advice thanksMy inlaws ruin my husband surpise birthdat party please give me advice?

i would let it go because maybe it was a mistake. but if you feel that is was done intentionally then i would tell them how you feel
the next time do not tell the in- laws. let them be surprized as well
Look on the bright side, you could use this as an opportunity to have a great time with him. the in-laws aren't needed in order to have a happy birthday for you hubby. I'm sure he's happier without them around.
i'd say, get it out of your system and plan a different surprise for him. like getting rid of all your guests and doing something wild and sexy.
yep that's in laws for you honey i have in laws sometimes with some people any and everything you do is not good enough i would return the favor if i ever got the chance
I don't blame you! I would tell them about it. They had no right to do that, they knew it was a surprise! No excuse! Once you calm down alittle, call them and tell them you didn't appreciate what they did.
Wow. I am so sorry. It sounds like you live in the midst of a bunch of cave people. What is the matter with these weirdos? This does not sound like a family at all. They sound like self-centered children. I would have as little to do with them as I could.
